Carlie Casey is a consultant with three consulting teams in Washington state – The Aileron Project, Impact Achievement Group, and The Human Potential Project. He teaches courses through the Evans School Cascade Executive Programs on communication, conflict resolution, and leadership coaching. Prior to this work, Casey served as a professor of counseling psychology and marriage and family therapy at the Northwest Satir Institute, Australian National University, Boston University’s overseas programs in Germany and Italy, California State University at Fullerton, Montana State University, and others.
In his consulting work, Casey works with corporate and government clients such as Align Technology, Allianz Insurance, Ascend Consulting, The Boeing Company, Bunch & Associates, The Cobalt Group, Delicato Family Vinyards, the Federal Communications Commission, House Values, the Kroger Company, Media General, Nucor Steel, Recreational Equipment Inc., Seattle City Light, Volvo Penta, the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, the Washington State Senate, Western Health Advantage, and the Wyoming Business Council.
Prior to his current consulting positions, Casey worked from 1987-2004 as a licensed psychologist and owner of Bayside Associates, a clinical practice of more than twenty clinicians in Bellingham, Washington. In his clinical work, Casey specialized in marriage and family therapy and the treatment of anxiety disorders. Within the Bellingham medical community, he worked closely with primary care practitioners to pioneer a seamless integration of behavioral health services into primary care practice.
Casey holds a Ph.D. and Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a BA in psychology from the University of Maine at Orono.
