Alexandra Liggins teaches courses through the Evans School Cascade Executive Programs on leadership development and managing diversity.

Liggins is a co-founder of Phoenix Consulting Group, Inc., a Seattle-based management consulting company established in 1994 specializing in human resources development and organizational improvement. She is a Seattle native of Tlingit and Thai heritages, has lived in Southeast Asia ,and traveled extensively worldwide. This personal experience coupled with her professional research on ethnic cultural differences has earned her an outstanding reputation as a highly sought after consultant. In addition to her consulting work, Liggins serves as a public speaker, mediator, and facilitator specializing in leadership development, cultural diversity, organization culture change, team building, and conflict resolution skills.

Liggins has more than fifteen years of experience in training, curriculum design, cultural audits, interventions, and mediations and has provided training to more than 15,000 private and public sector executives, managers, employees, and employee groups both locally and nationally.

Liggins holds a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA from Seattle University.
