Karma Tshering, Bhutan, (2006-07) received a Hubert H. Humphrey Alumni Impact Award for a project she designed as a follow-up to her Humphrey fellowship year.  Her project aims to disseminate information on the principles and process of democracy through free, unbiased analysis of political parties, candidates, and campaigns.  The project will also establish a radio program forum for the exchange of views from all interested people on the democratic process.  IIE has offered these competitive awards for six years, and Karma is the fourth Evans School fellow to receive one. It's a great accomplishment for her and a great tribute to the Evans School Humphrey program.
