World Economic Forum Names Khagram a Young Global Leader

Evans School Associate Professor Sanjeev Khagram was named one of 200 Young Global Leaders for 2009 by the World Economic Forum, an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging leaders in partnerships to shape global, regional, and industry agendas.

Khagram was selected for his record of professional accomplishments, commitment to society, and leadership potential. The Young Global Leaders form a unique network of peers under the age of 40 from diverse backgrounds and fields, with a highly visible opportunity to significantly impact world affairs and shape the global agenda. Members of the group are chosen from a pool of more than 5,000 nominations by a committee of the world’s top media leaders and chaired by Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan. Read the press release
