Evans School Receives Magnuson Award
The Evans School accepted the 2009 Warren G. Magnuson Memorial Award at the Municipal League of King County's Civic Awards on Wednesday, March 25. This is the first time the award, which honors significant contributions to the enhancement of local government, has been given to an organization.Alumnus Paul Rucker to Lead UW Alumni Association
The University of Washington Alumni Association has announced that Paul Rucker will become executive director and associate vice president of alumni relations when current head Chuck Blumenfeld retires in May. Rucker earned an MPA at the Evans School and is also a member of our Visiting Committee. World Economic Forum Names Khagram a Young Global Leader
Evans School Associate Professor Sanjeev Khagram was named one of 200 Young Global Leaders for 2009 by the World Economic Forum, an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging leaders in partnerships to shape global, regional, and industry agendas.
