The Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington (UW) welcomes its 20th consecutive class of Hubert H. Humphrey Fellows for the 2008-08 academic year.
The class is comprised of 16 midcareer professionals from 14 different countries working in the fields of public policy and management. They will take part in one year of non-degree study at the Evans School to gain hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge of how the work in their individual professions is approached in the United States.

The UW is one of only 15 universities in the nation where Humphrey Fellows are placed, and has hosted more than 230 fellows from at least 90 different nations since 1987. The Evans School proudly hosts approximately 12 Humphrey Fellows every year. Their presence provides an international perspective on public policy issues that cross national boundaries.
The Humphrey Fellowship program is administered by the Institute of International Education and primarily supported by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
