Zebedayo B. Kyomo (HHH 2004-05), Tanzania, received the Tanzania Award for Scientific and Technological Achievement (TASTA) from the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology for his discovery of magnetite in Tabora and its use as alternative low-cost iron filings. The minister for communication, science, and technology of the United Republic of Tanzania presented the award to Kyomo (pictured above).
