The UW Evans School's Nancy Bell Evans Center on Nonprofits & Philanthropy, Philanthropy Northwest and Social Venture Partners invite you to their first talk of the 2009-2010 academic year: "Reflections on Philanthropy from Today’s Leaders" featuring David B. Smith speaking on: “Sustaining Impact: Measuring our Civic Return on Investment.” The following questions will be discussed: What is Civic Health? How do you measure it? How does the economy affect it? What is a funder’s role? How can funders help build vital communities? The discussion will be followed by Q & A. The event is sponsored by the Henry M.
