Application Instructions
To apply for the Evans School’s Nonprofit Management Certificate Program, you will need to submit the following application materials:
- An application coversheet that includes your name, contact information, and a list of the documents submitted
- One 400-500 word, two-page double-spaced essay detailing the applicant’s background, experiences, perspectives on the sector, and motivation for applying to the program
- Current resume (at least one year of work experience is required)
- UW transcript (minimum 3.0 GPA)
- One letter of recommendation from a faculty member
Students will be admitted to the Nonprofit Management Certificate Program on the basis of the strength of their application. Preference will be given to applicants with previous nonprofit work experience and/or a demonstrated area of interest or expertise within the nonprofit sector.
All application materials should be:
- Printed single-sided
- Single or double spaced text
- Fastened with paper clips (not staples)
The 2012 application deadline is April 27.
